Dre Dre BeatsPro Review
The latest edition to Disclexic’s audio arsenal was a pair of Dr Dre BeatsPro Headphones.
So we thought we’d tell you a little about what we thought of them.
Looking at the we don’t think anybody can argue that they are stunning to look at. We went with the white ones (very Apple).
However, it’s not the looks that are important. The main reason we invested in these was that sound fantastic. The bass response is incredible, even for high end headphones, but it doesn’t over power the mix like other models.
There’s is tones of clarity and tones of detail.
We’ve not only been DJing with these but we’ve also used them in the studio for mixing. There great for just putting on and double checking the mix in a hearing environment (i.e. DJing) that we’re used to listening to.
On the subject of DJing the build quality is second to none. They have a strong metal construction, topped off with leather. They are little on the heavy side but that doesn’t really bother either of us. Not to mention the heavy duty jack leads that come included.
At £300 there not the cheapest on the market, but in the price bracket easily one of the best.
(the packaging is also sexy as hell, just from a designers point of view)
